With a new people-friendly streetscape, a linear park if you will, Hohman Avenue in downtown was step one in recreating our downtown. And now, with people moving into The Banc, Hammond now has residents who call downtown their home. The Towle Theater offers live theater and programs, 18th Street Brewery and Distillery creates award-winning brews and spirits, and Paradise Mototiki & Co offers morning coffees and woodfired pizzas. Paul Henry’s Art Gallery offers local art and weekly open jam nights and during the spring through fall months, there are farmer’s markets, car shows and more.
